Travel Consultant
Job Summary:
- You will be responsible for helping clients plan and organize their travel arrangements to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience
Description
- Consulting with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and special requirements.
- Researching and recommending suitable travel destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Booking flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and tours on behalf of clients.
- Providing clients with necessary travel information such as visa requirements, health advisories, insurance options, and local customs.
- Managing changes, cancellations, and resolving any issues that arise during the travel process.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, promotions, and regulations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Using booking software and systems efficiently to ensure accurate reservations..
Requirements:
- BSc or HND in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Amadeus and Galileo booking systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of geography, travel logistics, and booking systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience
