Scrum Master
Job Description
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
- Remove impediments and proactively resolve blockers impacting delivery
- Shield the team from external interruptions and manage stakeholder interference
- Track sprint metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team performance
- Support continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable insights
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization
- Promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration within the team
- Identify risks and escalate issues when necessary
- Foster a high-performing, self-organizing team environment
- Ensure adherence to Agile processes and organizational standards
- Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile role
- CSM or PSM certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing team dynamics
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
