Quality Control Manager
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that our products and services meet the highest industry standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a passion for quality improvement. The Quality Control Manager will develop and implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the quality inspection process for all products, ensuring that they meet specified requirements before delivery to customers.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control processes and best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to quality issues.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for management, including recommendations for areas of improvement.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, TS16949) and quality control methodologies (e.g., statistical process control, lean manufacturing).
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
SALARY EXPECTATION: N300,000 – N 420,000
