Production and Quality Control Supervisor (Graduate Trainee)
About the Role
- As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Control Supervisor (Graduate Trainee).
- The Quality Control Supervisor (Graduate Trainee) will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that all products meet required quality standards.
- The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and assisting in the implementation of quality control systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing quality management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products
- Identify defects or deviations and report findings promptly
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards at all times
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field with 0–2 years of experience (NYSC completed or in progress)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
