Duties
- The Expert will carefully and consistently deliver their services, completing all tasks and projects on time while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Additionally, the Expert is responsible for securing and maintaining all required licenses, permits, and memberships necessary to carry out the services specified in this Contract.
- Support the International Procurement Advisor in overseeing the day-to-day procurement tasks for the Project Management Unit (PMU) and Project Implementation Unit (PIU), ensuring alignment with AFD procurement guidelines and local standards.
- Assist in evaluating bids, ensuring compliance with criteria, and contributing technical insights to the process.
- Update the Procurement Plan regularly to reflect project requirements and maintain alignment with timelines and objectives.
- Serve as the point of contact for procurement-related tasks on the project, ensuring seamless operations during the absence of the international procurement advisor.
- Provide hands-on support and training to KADSTRA Procurement staff, enhancing their understanding and execution of procurement procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and an internationally recognized professional qualification.
- Master’s degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement.
