Loan Officer
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role, based in Ibadan, for a Loan Officer.
- The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, performing credit analysis, and ensuring all underwriting standards are met.
- Day-to-day tasks will include processing loan originations, managing client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective and existing clients.
- Additionally, the Loan Officer will play a crucial role in recommending appropriate financial solutions tailored to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Loan Origination and Underwriting processes
- Strong skills in Customer Service and building client relationships
- Knowledge of finance principles and practices, especially in SME lending
- Experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in analysis and attention to detail in loan evaluations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Familiarity with industry regulations and lending procedures is an advantage
