Job Summary
- Quality Assurance Manager, is in charge of supervising the production process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards.
- Their duties include developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and writing reports documenting production issues.
Responsibilities
The Quality Manager has several duties and responsibilities. Some of these include:
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipments
- Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
- Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
- Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
- Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
- Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution:
- Fulfill weekly and monthly production targets by collaborating with the Production Manager.
- Supervise the formulation, compounding, and packaging processes on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods inventories.
Quality Control & Compliance:
- Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Document and review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) for completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor environmental controls, including temperature and humidity, across manufacturing suites.
- Manage line clearances and perform in-process quality checks to prevent contamination and product defects.
Staff Management & Equipment Oversight:
- Supervise, train, and schedule shift operators and junior production staff.
- Ensure the proper sanitation, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
