Qualification

  • Degree or equivalent training in Mechanical Technology.
  • 5+ years of power generation experience (combined or simple cycle plants).
  • 3+ years in a lead / supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, vessels, coolers & welding (MIG / TIG / Brazing).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and a valid international passport.

Job Description

  • We are seeking to appoint an experienced, visionary, and commercially astute Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership across its educational and operational ecosystem.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the Chairman of the Governing Board and will be responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial sustainability (P&L ownership) while maintaining the high pedagogical standards the group is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the articulation, development and implementation of strategic plans that towards the achievement of the groupgoals.
  • Create, communicate, and implement the group vision, mission, and overall direction.
  • Oversee the internal operational activities of the group in accordance with the direction established in the strategicplans.
  • Provide guidance and periodic reports to the Board, as may be required.
  • Define and agree on group goals and performance objectives with the Director of Education and assess performance against defined objectives.
  • Promote good governance, as well as provide leadership and guidance to other executive leaders across the group.
  • Participate in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the group’s reputation and potential for success.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 15-20 years experience.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to serving children.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive, as well as a track record of business, financial, and organizational performance.
  • Proven experience managing and leading high-performing teams and schools, including strategic development and operations.
  • Proven leadership, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent strategic networking, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well-honed skills to persuade, influence, as well as manage and sustain effective relationships.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
