Role Overview
- We are seeking a Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs. This contract role reports to the Head of Technology and is critical for platform scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs.
- Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Implement authentication, authorization, and payment integrations.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Document architecture and code according to company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4–6 years of back-end development experience.
- Experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java (Node.js preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Mongo db, RESTful API design and database management.
