Description

  • The Payment & Settlement Officer will be responsible for processing payments, managing settlements, reconciling transactions, and ensuring timely disbursement of funds.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in cash handling—preferably former cashiers, POS agents, or individuals with similar financial operations experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash disbursement and settlements for completed transactions.
  • Verify and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Maintain accurate payment records and documentation.
  • Support customers with payment enquiries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the digital trade team and other departments for smooth operations.
  • Report discrepancies, suspicious transactions, or operational challenges.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly settlement reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience in a cashier role, POS operation, or payment processing is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to use basic financial applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
