PURPOSE
To ensure the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the factory and office premises, while complying with safety, quality, and regulatory standards to support uninterrupted operations.
THE JOB
- Install, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures within the factory and offices.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify electrical hazards, defects, and the need for repair or adjustment in line with safety codes.
- Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes of breakdowns, and carry out corrective actions promptly.
- Monitor and ensure electrical panels, circuits, and controls are appropriately rated to prevent accidents.
- Confirm meter readings where applicable and report abnormalities.
- Prepare requisition lists for electrical materials for approval by the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical).
THE PERSON MUST
- Possess an inquisitive mindset with a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Demonstrate a high level of diligence, commitment, and good personal hygiene.
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and methodically.
- Be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) Technical in Electrical or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a similar electrical maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Method of Application
PURPOSE
To coordinate and supervise maintenance activities within the plant to ensure equipment reliability and optimal plant performance, supporting uninterrupted production operations.
THE JOB
- Review maintenance fitters’ report books daily and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely resolution.
- Assign maintenance jobs to fitters based on requests from user departments and plant priorities.
- Supervise and verify the quality of maintenance work carried out by fitters to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Execute planned preventive maintenance activities within scheduled timelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reports for record‑keeping and reference purposes.
- Promote effective communication between process operators and maintenance teams to ensure timely reporting and resolution of equipment defects.
- Support plant reliability by addressing maintenance challenges such as equipment failures and downtime.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong supervisory and coordination skills with the ability to manage maintenance teams effectively.
- Have good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Be proactive in identifying maintenance issues and ensuring prompt corrective actions.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with operators and technicians.
QUALIFICATION

EXPERIENCE
