Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to provide reliable transportation services for staff, goods, or company operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain assigned vehicles in good working condition, and adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company transportation policies.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport staff, goods, materials, or company assets to designated locations.
Ensure timely pick-up and delivery while following assigned schedules and routes.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle at all times.
Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tire pressure, and other vehicle maintenance requirements.
Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly to management.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
Ensure all vehicle documents including license, insurance, and registration are valid and up to date.
Plan routes effectively to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure efficiency.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and proper conduct while representing the company.

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
2–5 years of proven experience as a professional driver.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Familiarity with local routes, highways, and navigation within assigned locations.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
Physically fit and able to handle long-distance driving when necessary.
