The Role
- We are seeking a sharp, proactive Post-NYSC Medical Officer to manage outpatients, oversee wards, handle emergencies, and assist in the operating theatre. You will be the clinical backbone of the hospital during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general outpatient consultations and daily inpatient ward rounds.
- Stabilize and manage acute medical, paediatric, and OB/GYN emergencies.
- Perform minor procedures (suturing, I&D) and first-assist in major surgeries.
- Handle EMR documentation and HMO pre-authorizations accurately.
- Escalate complex cases to consultants efficiently.
Requirements
- MBBS with full MDCN registration and current practicing license.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter.
- Competence in emergency stabilization and basic surgical skills.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour under pressure.
- BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage.

The Role
- We are seeking a qualified, highly skilled, and meticulous Locum Medical Laboratory Scientist. This is a part-time role requiring a commitment of 2 to 3 days a week (with flexible shift scheduling to be agreed upon). The successful candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic tests to assist clinicians in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations across haematology, chemical pathology, microbiology, and blood transfusion during assigned shifts.
- Ensure precise documentation, analysis, and timely release of laboratory test results.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Strictly implement internal quality control and external quality assurance protocols.
- Adhere strictly to infection control, safety guidelines, and waste management procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) from a recognized institution.
- Licensing: Full registration with the *Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) with a current, valid practicing license.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC clinical laboratory experience.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to *2–3 consistent days per week* (includes potential weekend or night rotation depending on roster needs).
- Proximity: Candidates residing within or near Onitsha are strongly preferred for ease of shift alignment.
