JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food production. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes run efficiently, safely and in compliance with quality control standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor production schedules and meet output targets
- Train, guide, and manage production staff
- Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or related field
- Proven experience in a food production company.
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP)
NOTE:
- Certification in food safety or quality control (is an added advantage).
- Experience in supervising a team is required.
