Job Summary:
- We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property. The role requires professionalism, alertness, and the ability to respond effectively to security situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property.
- Control access to hospital premises and monitor entry and exit points.
- Patrol hospital buildings and surrounding areas to prevent theft, vandalism, or disturbances.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarm situations.
- Enforce hospital rules, policies, and safety procedures.
- Assist in crowd control and manage visitor movement when necessary.
- Report and document security incidents accurately and promptly.
- Cooperate with hospital management and law enforcement agencies when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification.
- Previous experience in a security role, preferably in a hospital or similar environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
- Good observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Physically fit and able to carry out patrol duties.
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency response procedures is an added advantage.
