Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enforcement of HSE policies, procedures and management systems across terminal operations.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, safety walks and risk assessments, ensuring effective hazard identification and mitigation.
- Monitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements and safe systems of work.
- Facilitate incident reporting, investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE awareness programs, toolbox talks and training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills and response actions involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor environmental compliance requirements, including waste management, spill prevention, pollution control and sustainability initiatives.
What We Are Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC and ISPON certifications are mandatory; TechIOSH membership is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HSE operational experience, ideally within a container terminal, port or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of container terminal operations, container handling equipment and asset maintenance activities.
- Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Valid driver’s license with practical driving experience, including manual transmission vehicles.
