Head of IT
Job brief
- We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Head of IT to take charge of our technology operations.
- You’ll lead IT strategy, keep our systems running smoothly, and drive digital upgrades that help every department work better.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all IT infrastructure, systems, and network performance
- Ensure data security, system reliability, and business continuity across the company
- Manage database systems, backups, data recovery, and reporting support
- Provide fast, reliable IT support to all departments
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Identify and implement new digital tools to improve service delivery
- Supervise internal IT staff and manage relationships with external vendors.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3–5 years proven experience in IT operations or systems administration
- Strong hands-on knowledge of networks, cybersecurity, and database management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical issues clearly
- Leadership experience managing teams or projects is a plus.
