ACO Nigeria is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, and budgeting activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while supporting the company’s renewable energy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, IFRS standards, and company policies.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor project-level financial performance for solar installations and supply contracts.
- Support audits, investor reporting, grant applications, and tender-related financial submissions.
- Supervise finance team members and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reports.
- Coordinate inventory reconciliation, invoicing, and stock count processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- ICAN certification.
- Minimum of 5 years accounting or finance experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
