Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site position for a Finance and Account Lead. The Finance and Account Lead will handle day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role also involves planning and implementing financial strategies, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support organizational decision-making. Additionally, the Finance and Account Lead will collaborate with team members to maintain effective communication and contribute to financial efficiency and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and manage budgets and cash flow plans.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Monitor expenses, cost efficiency, and project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
• Supervise payroll processes in collaboration with HR.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
• Support pricing, costing, and investment decisions.
• Maintain internal financial controls and risk management systems.
• Safeguard company financial assets and ensure integrity of records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
