Classroom English Language Teacher (Lower and Upper Primary)
Job summary
- We are seeking a passionate, responsible, and enthusiastic English Language teacher who loves working with young children and wants to make a lasting difference in their academic years.
- The English Teacher must be skilled in fostering academic, social and cognitive development, in a safe and inclusive learning space.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Education, or a related field (PGDE is an added advantage)
- Registered and licensed by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Must be well grounded in the British curriculum
- Minimum of three years working experience in 21st Century teaching methodology and style.
Skills & Competencies:
- Warm, friendly, and patient personality
- Must love children and be loved by parents
- High proficiency in English Language; speaking, writing, reading and listening.
- Proper Speech and English Diction.
- Tech-Savvy- Good proficiency in using educational tools and resources and other technological tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Canva.
- Strong classroom management, positive discipline and collaboration skills.
- Good observational and organisational skills
- Attention to detail.
- Passion for teaching
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Creativity, Innovation and adaptability
- Awareness of gender and cultural sensitivity.
