Bar Attendant / Cashier
Job Summary
- The Bar Attendant / Cashier will be responsible for attending to customers, preparing and serving drinks, handling cash transactions, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the bar.
- The ideal candidate should be courteous, trustworthy, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Major Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and take drink or service orders professionally.
- Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards.
- Receive payments and issue receipts accurately.
- Balance cash register and maintain proper transaction records.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of the bar area.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages when necessary.
- Resolve customer complaints politely and escalate when required.
- Support smooth operations across the lounge when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Previous experience as a Bar Attendant, Cashier, or in a similar hospitality role.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic numeracy skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
