Site Plumber
Job Summary
- A Plumbing Technician installs, maintains, and repairs water, gas, and waste systems in residential/commercial buildings, handling tasks from unclogging drains and fixing leaks to installing fixtures (toilets, sinks, water heaters) and interpreting blueprints, all while ensuring safety, code compliance, and excellent customer service, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and physical ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Assemble, fit, and install pipes, valves, fixtures, and appliances (faucets, showers, dishwashers).
- Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and fix leaks, clear clogged drains, repair burst pipes, and replace worn parts.
- System Diagnostics: Inspect and test plumbing systems for functionality, safety, and code adherence.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Communicate with clients, explain issues, provide estimates, and handle emergency calls.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Salary
N100,000 – N200,000 per month.
