PHE (Physical Health Education)
Job Summary
Greenland Hall is seeking a proactive and skilled Physical and Health Education (PHE) Teacher to promote learners’ physical fitness, health awareness, and overall wellbeing in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Physical and Health Education lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Organise and supervise physical activities, sports, and fitness programmes safely.
- Teach health education topics that support learners’ wellbeing and lifestyle choices.
- Assess, record, and report learners’ performance and progress accurately.
- Ensure safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among learners.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school sporting activities.
- Adhere to school policies, safeguarding guidelines, and professional ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification and practical experience.
- Knowledge of sports safety and basic first aid.
- Strong classroom and activity management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
