Operations Analyst
Responsibilities
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in offshore service delivery.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore operations, logistics, and QHSE, to gather information and implement solutions.
- Support the planning and execution of offshore operational activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in forecasting operational needs, including resource allocation, equipment, and personnel for offshore engagements.
- Monitor industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to offshore oil and gas operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures for enhanced performance.
General Requirements
- Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in operations analysis, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex operational data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of oil and gas upstream operations, including offshore service delivery.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with QHSE standards and practices in the oil and gas sector.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
