Laboratory Technician
Job Summary
Neolab Medical Diagnostic Services Limited, located in Asaba, beside Koka flyover, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic services. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist and contribute to maintaining professional laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Parasitology, and other assigned units.
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens according to standard operating procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Observe quality control procedures and infection prevention protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
- Monitor inventory and report reagent shortages promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and ethical standards.
- Provide courteous and professional service to patients and clients.
