Job Summary
- This role is intentionally designed as the pipeline into the Field Sales Team Lead position. You will operate as atop-performing Senior Executive while developing the leadership, systems-thinking, and process discipline required to manage a zone. Within 6–12 months, the strongest performers will step into team leadership roles as we expand. This is a boots-on-ground, high-accountability role for someone who is highly organized, analytical, proactive, and ready to lead by example.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Execution and Target Delivery
- Deliver consistent daily order generation for all assigned brand partners
- Expand retail coverage and improve brand penetration
- Maintain healthy debt levels: 35+ day at-risk debt below 10%
- Activate stores, deepen retailer relationships, and close performance gaps immediately
- Execute field plans reliably—no excuses, no surprises
Process Discipline & Systems Execution
- Design and follow structured route plans and daily call cycles
- Track and measure performance using the productivity system
- Submit accurate daily reports without fail
- Use field data to make decisions, solve problems, and quickly correct declining performance
- Recommend improvements to processes and systems
Leadership Support & Team Development
- Serve as the model standard for junior sales executives
- Assist the Field Sales Team Lead with training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Step in to lead field operations temporarily when needed
- Uphold expectations even without supervision
- Help reinforce a culture of accountability and extreme ownership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Operations on stock availability and delivery confirmations
- Communicate field insights that inform Finance and Data decisions
- Flag problems and issues early— zero surprises, no silent failures
- Support special projects, brand activations, and expansion initiatives
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
You will be evaluated based on:
- Sales Score: 80%+ monthly (target zones 1st/2nd place eligible for bonuses)
- Daily brand partner order-generation: >95%
- At-risk debt (>35 days): <10%
- Timeliness & reporting discipline: 100%
- Coverage expansion & activation quality: measurable month-on-month growth
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in Business Development & Sales.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or any relevant field.
- Experience working with Logistics & supply chain company is an advantage
