About the role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to manage and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting users across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment
- Monitor and maintain network systems and internet connectivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, email, and access issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings
- Ensure data backup, system security, and antivirus protection
- Support IT projects, upgrades, and system improvements
- Maintain proper IT documentation and asset records
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1–3 years relevant IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of: Windows OS, Networking basics (LAN/WAN), Microsoft Office & email systems
- Basic understanding of IT security and data protection
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Experience with ERP systems
- IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
