Job Description:
- Respond to emergency calls quickly
- Assist medical staff with patient movement
- Check ambulance condition (fuel, tires, siren, equipment) Keep records/logs of trips
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE (secondary school cehificate) or equivalent
- Must have a valid Nigerian driver’s license (usually Class D or E depending on vehicle type) First Aid / CPR certification is often required or strongly preferred
- Typically 1—5 years of driving experience
- Experience driving vans, buses, or emergency vehicles is an advantage
- Must be physically fit (you’ll help lift/stretch patients)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure during emergencies
- Experienced in hospitals or emergency services
