Inventory Analyst.

Our client is the foremost luxury goods company in Nigeria with a diversified portfolio that consists of over 13 of the world\’s most prestigious luxury brands. They are looking to fill the role of an  Inventory Analyst.

Job Responsibilities:

Inventory Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers.
  • Analyze stock movements, turnover rates, and demand patterns.
  • Identify discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Develop demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
  • Recommend reorder points and safety stock levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement to align purchasing with demand.

Process Improvement

  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and obsolescence.
  • Suggest process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support automation and digital tools for inventory management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales, operations, and finance teams to align inventory strategies.
  • Provide insights to support product launches and seasonal demand.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for management decision-making.

Job Requirement:

  • 4 years + progressive experience in sales, especially in FMCG, Telecoms, banking, luxury retail, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory management is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Strong data interpretation and reporting skills.
