Head of Operations
Role Summary
- The Head of Operations will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency across the pharmacy chain, with particular focus on procurement, distribution, logistics, inventory control, and data-driven decision-making.
- The role requires a strong analytical mindset and hands-on experience managing operations at scale.
- The Head of Operations will work closely with the General Manager and the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end procurement, warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations
- Ensure optimal stock availability, stock accuracy, and inventory turnover across all locations
- Implement and monitor supply chain systems, controls, and performance metrics
- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to support business growth objectives
- Ensure operational processes align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, distribution, and logistics
- Strong background in supply chain management and inventory/stock control
- Highly data-driven, with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Demonstrated ability to use data to drive operational efficiency and cost control
- Prior experience within a retail chain environment is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and execution capabilities
