Graduate Trainee – Commercial & Pricing
Role Overview
- The Graduate Trainee (Commercial & Pricing) will support revenue growth by assisting with pricing analysis, commercial strategy execution, customer deal structuring, and market intelligence. This role is ideal for analytically minded graduates with strong commercial instincts who want exposure to digital freight pricing, sales enablement, and revenue optimization in a fast-paced logistics technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pricing analysis for freight, warehousing, and logistics solutions across key trade lanes
- Assist in preparing pricing models, rate cards, and commercial proposals for customers
- Work with Sales and Operations teams to structure competitive and profitable deals
- Track market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions
- Analyze shipment data, margins, and revenue performance using Excel and internal systems
- Support customer onboarding by ensuring pricing accuracy and contract alignment
- Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review
- Participate in negotiations and client meetings as learning exposure

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
- 0–2 years work experience (NYSC completed or in progress)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Interest in logistics, supply chain, and technology
Added Advantage
- Exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation
- Knowledge of pricing, finance, or data analytics tools
- Startup or fast-growth environment experience
