- The Facility Unit provides support services in infrastructure maintenance, workspace optimization, and operational efficiency, which are critical to achieving the organization’s mission. Through the effective management of physical resources and environments, the unit ensures a safe, functional, and sustainable workspace that enables staff productivity and supports organizational goals.
- The Steward ensures the cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of all areas within the eHealth Africa facility, including offices, kitchens, and shared spaces. Collaborating with the Facility Supervisor, the Steward manages inventory and restocks essential supplies, such as linens, toiletries, and service items. S/he will be a reliable and detail-oriented individual dedicated to maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment that enhances daily operations and fosters a positive workplace experience.
What you’ll do
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all office and facility areas, including floors, furniture, windows, restrooms, walkways, and signage.
- Ensure designated spaces such as offices, lobbies, and public areas are consistently clean, organized, and presentable.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, restocking items such as detergents, deodorizers, and toiletries as needed.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks as directed by the supervisor to ensure consistency and efficiency in maintaining cleanliness.
- Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards in compliance with organizational policies.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and discussions focused on cleanliness and facility upkeep.
- Exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and accountability in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
- Promote a respectful, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment while adhering to eHealth Africa’s policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate; additional vocational training or certification in facility management, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an NGO, hospitality, or office environment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards while efficiently following instructions.
- Good understanding of English is required for both verbal and written communication.

- The Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) operated by eHealth Africa are a critical unit dedicated to managing and coordinating responses to emergencies effectively. The EOCs plays a pivotal role in ensuring organizational readiness and resilience, aligning its objectives with the broader mission of safeguarding lives, assets, and continuity of operations. By delivering seamless administrative and technical services, this unit supports the timely execution of emergency strategies and ensures that all stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
- The Associate will provide administrative and technical support within the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) while ensuring operations align with the mission and strategic goals of eHealth Africa. This role focuses on maintaining efficient office operations, facilitating communication, and supporting collaborative efforts.
What you’ll do

- Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events to ensure flawless execution, including managing schedules, guest lists, refreshments and logistics.
- Creates, edits, and disseminates documents such as correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails while adhering to high standards of professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist in assigning daily tasks and overseeing the maintenance of electronic and physical copy filing systems, and modifying documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, diagnosis and solves computer software and hardware faults.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration by acting as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Fostering professional relationships, and ensuring responsive and effective interactions.
- Ensuring excellence by meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively, and demonstrating professionalism in all outputs.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management or any related field.
- One to two (1-2) years of Technical administrative support experience preferably in an International NGO or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates strong ability to navigate and utilize specialized administrative software relevant to program operations including expertise in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.).
- Proficiency in English is required for both verbal and written communication. Fluency in Hausa language is an additional advantage.
