Accounting Manager
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations for our company.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, preparing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and company policies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
Requirements
- At least Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must be a registered member of a recognized accounting professional body in Nigeria, such as ICAN or ANAN
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and IFRS
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
