Vehicle Inspection Officer
Our client is a mobility technology company and they are looking to employ a Vehicle Inspection Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough vehicle inspections, performing routine maintenance, and supporting drivers with technical assistance and guidance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics: Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and operational standards, diagnose mechanical issues, and report defects for resolution.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure vehicles meet legal and industry standards, assist in regulatory inspections, and ensure roadworthiness.
- Driver Support & Training: Provide technical support, guide drivers on proper vehicle operation, and conduct training on routine checks and safe driving practices.
- Fleet Management Support: Collaborate to schedule maintenance, minimize downtime, and monitor vehicle performance to predict failures.
- Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Track inventory, manage spare parts, and ensure timely procurement to avoid repair delays.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with drivers and management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Organizational skills for managing maintenance schedules and records.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
