Turnaround Facilities & Logistics Planner
Job Summary
- We are seeking a leading integrated service company in Nigeria’s upstream oil and gas sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Turnaround Facilities & Logistics Planner for one of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Competence & Functional Expertise:
Symbolization of Materials:
- Demonstrated experience supporting material management activities, including symbolizing materials accurately for Turnaround (TA) execution.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Material Controllers to ensure proper classification, coding, documentation, and tracking of all materials across EGTL, EGP, and FSO operations.
TA Asset Management:
- Strong capability in managing critical TA assets such as radios, gas monitors, PTW stations, TA Pro devices, tools, and equipment.
- Evidence of implementing improved strategies in record keeping, asset tracking, return management, storage integrity, and maintenance routines.
- Ability to design and execute asset accountability systems that reduce losses and improve equipment readiness.
Fuel Management & Accounting:
- Experience monitoring, allocating, and reconciling fuel usage during TA activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate fuel records, implement controls, and ensure transparency in consumption reporting.
Logistics Planning:
- Proven capability in planning and coordinating logistics activities including transportation scheduling, material movement, equipment dispatching, and site-wide mobilization.
- Understanding of logistics risk points and development of mitigation strategies for delays, shortages, or equipment bottlenecks.
iTAM Database Utilization:
- Proficiency in using the iTAM database for asset and material tracking, documentation updates, and inventory control.
Salesforce & Digital Tools:
- Experience learning and applying Salesforce functionalities to enhance Facilities & Logistics (F&L) workflows and material planning deliverables.
- Demonstrated adaptability with digital planning tools and enterprise systems.
Strategic & Operational Skills:
Strategic Planning & Forecasting:
- Ability to forecast demand, predict material and equipment needs, and optimize inventory levels.
- Skilled in planning transportation routes and schedules with a forward-looking approach (3–5-year planning horizon).
- Capable of integrating field data, historical performance, and operational trends to strengthen TA readiness.
Risk Management:
- Experience developing contingency and recovery plans for: transportation delays, inventory shortages, capacity constraints, asset unavailability
- Ability to assess operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies to sustain project timelines.
Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of transportation modes (TL/LTL), warehousing principles, inventory control, and supply chain flow within TA environments.
- Familiarity with turnaround material handling requirements and safety regulations
General Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or equivalent).
- 4–5+ years relevant experience in IT-related systems supporting logistics, logistics planning and coordination, warehousing operations, transportation & fleet management
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, or turnaround environments is an added advantage.
