Job Summary
- We are seeking a committed, fluent and culturally knowledgeable Igbo Language Teacher to promote effective language learning and appreciation of Igbo culture among learners.
- The successful candidate will develop students’ speaking, reading, writing and comprehension skills while preparing them for internal and external assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured Igbo language lessons for primary and or secondary school learners.
- Teach Igbo grammar, vocabulary, oral communication, reading comprehension and writing.
- Introduce learners to Igbo literature, proverbs, folktales and cultural practices where appropriate.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations such as WAEC and NECO.
- Use interactive teaching methods including storytelling, drama, songs and role play to enhance learning.
- Assess learners’ progress and provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessments and learner progress.
- Support language clubs, cultural celebrations and school programmes related to indigenous languages.
- Uphold classroom discipline, safeguarding standards and school policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Igbo, Linguistics, Languages or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (TRCN, PGDE or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Proven fluency in spoken and written Igbo.
- Experience teaching Igbo Language in a school setting preferred.
- Good understanding of the Nigerian language curriculum and examination requirements.

Job Summary
- We are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and learner–focused Geography Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction that helps students understand physical and human geography, environmental issues and global interdependence.
- The successful candidate will inspire curiosity about the world while preparing learners for internal and external examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for secondary school learners.
- Teach physical geography topics including landforms, climate, weather, ecosystems and natural processes.
- Teach human and economic geography including population, settlement, resources, industries and development.
- Develop students’ map-reading, data interpretation and fieldwork skills.
- Prepare learners for WAEC, NECO, IGCSE or other relevant examinations.
- Use maps, GIS tools, charts, case studies and real-world examples to enhance understanding.
- Assess learners through tests, projects, fieldwork reports and examinations, and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records, lesson plans and assessment data.
- Support geography clubs, environmental projects, excursions and school programmes.
- Uphold classroom discipline, safeguarding standards and school policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science or a related field.

- Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and international geography curricula.

Salary
