Supervisor
Job Summary
- Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Field Service Engineer and operations, ensuring that system requirements are properly implemented, and procedures are routinely followed.
- The Operations Supervisor supports the Regional/Operations Manager in coordinating daily technical and field operations, ensuring timely resolution of faults, maintaining network uptime, and enforcing operational standards.
Job Descriptions
- Responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities in the field service engineers and the supports
- Supervise and monitor operations, utilizing best practice operational processes with the aim of achieving service assurance and optimal customer experience.
- Oversee schedule repairs and coordinate changes under the direction of the technical authorities
- Oversee preventative, corrective, routine and breakdown maintenance is carried out as at when due
- Develop, refine, and document FSE policies, processes, procedures, and associated systems requirements and drive their implementation and use
- Utilize SAP to coordinate Work Orders, Requisitions and associated maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate urgent material requisitions, including vendor liaison and associated logistics.
- Liaise closely with Clients Engineering personnel on technical/ engineering queries and other related activities.
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Maintenance Strategies and development of long-term equipment plans
- Coordinate the generation of network availability and performance on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies and diesel management procedure.
- Organize the activities of the team leads, supports and other resources to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 6 – 8 years’ experience in telecom field operations or maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment, generators, and site power systems.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
