Senior Radiographer
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and other imaging modalities as applicable.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to established protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Monitor, operate, and ensure the proper maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies.
- Mentor and support junior radiographers and other team members.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor\’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography/Radiological Sciences.
- Current practicing license from the appropriate regulatory body.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a reputable healthcare facility.
- Proficiency in operating modern radiology equipment and imaging software.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
