Senior Radiographer

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and supervise a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and other imaging modalities as applicable.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to established protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care before, during, and after imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Monitor, operate, and ensure the proper maintenance of radiology equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies.
  • Mentor and support junior radiographers and other team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography/Radiological Sciences.
  • Current practicing license from the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a reputable healthcare facility.
  • Proficiency in operating modern radiology equipment and imaging software.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
