We are seeking a highly experienced Mercedes-Benz Mechanical Technician with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience specializing in mechanical repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of Mercedes-Benz engine systems, suspension, braking, cooling, drivetrain, and mechanical diagnostics.

This role requires strong technical ability, precision workmanship, and the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical faults efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Engine Mechanical Repairs

• Perform engine overhauls and rebuilds.
• Diagnose and repair oil leaks, head gasket failures, timing chain issues.
• Replace pistons, rings, bearings, valves, camshafts.
• Service turbochargers and mechanical boost systems.
• Carry out engine removal and installation.

Transmission & Drivetrain

• Remove and reinstall automatic transmissions (7G & 9G Tronic).
• Replace torque converters.
• Repair driveshafts, prop shafts, CV joints.
• Diagnose mechanical transmission noises and slippage.
• Replace engine and transmission mounts.

Suspension & Steering Systems

• Replace control arms, ball joints, bushings.
• Repair and replace shock absorbers and struts.
• Service air suspension mechanical components.
• Perform wheel hub and bearing replacements.
• Diagnose mechanical steering rack issues.

Brake Systems

• Replace brake pads, discs, calipers.
• Diagnose brake vibration and mechanical imbalance.
• Service parking brake mechanisms.
• Repair hydraulic brake system leaks.

Cooling & Auxiliary Systems

• Replace water pumps, thermostats, radiators.
• Repair coolant leaks.
• Service mechanical fans and belt-driven components.
• Replace serpentine belts and pulleys.
• Quality Control Responsibilities
• Conduct mechanical inspections before vehicle delivery.
• Ensure proper torque specifications are followed.
• Test drive vehicles after major repairs.
• Maintain zero mechanical comebacks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years proven mechanical experience working primarily on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of German vehicle mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret workshop manuals and torque specifications.
• Experience handling complete engine rebuilds independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Technical certification or automotive mechanical diploma preferred.
