School Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day school administration and operations
- Supervise staff and coordinate performance management and professional development
- Oversee admissions, enrollment, and student/staff record management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, health, safety, and safeguarding standards
- Handle discipline for staff and students
- Coordinate school communication, correspondence and documentation
- Manage budgets, procurement, inventory, and facilities operations
- Organize and coordinate school events, examinations, and extracurricular activities
- Serve as liaison between parents, staff, and school leadership
- Facilitate staff training and professional development logistics
- Assist with recruitment, orientation, training and on-boarding of all new staff
- Draft, update, implement and keep current school and administrative policies and procedures
- Promote a positive school culture and maintain a safe, clean and respectful environment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years’ teaching and administrative experience in a reputable secondary school
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Background in Education and Educational Leadership to guide the academic and operational success of the school
- Strong problem solving and diplomatic skills, and team management skills
- Proficiency in office management and digital record-keeping tools
- Computer literate and Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace for Education
- Knowledge of budgeting, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding practices
