Sales Executive
JOB SUMMARY
- To grow AISL’s institutional client base and HNIs to meet and exceed set expectation
STRATEGIC TASKS
- To grow the firm’s institutional customer base to increase commission income
- To market firms investment products to Institutions and HNIs
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and host client meetings as may be agreed with clients
- Cross Sell products/offerings of group to clients/prospects.
- Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Calling potential customers to explain company products and encourage purchases.
- Answering customers’ questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company products.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.
- Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
- Informing product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs.
- Preparing cost-benefit analyses for prospective and existing customers to determine the most suitable purchase options.
- Analyzing competitors’ products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.
- Building and maintaining long-term relations with customers.
- Addressing any customer queries and guiding them with their purchasing decisions.
- Maintaining an accurate and detailed record of all sales transactions.
- Preparing and presenting sales reports to the higher management.
- Researching current market trends and making a note of customer requirements.
- Reviewing competitor product offerings.
- Performance will be based on value of transactions and set targets assigned to each individual.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
Core Skills
- Strong experience onboarding and managing HNI and Mass Affluent clients.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A strategic thinker with quality experience in sales/business development
- Sound knowledge of THE NIGERIAN CAPITAL MARKETS WITH EMPHASIS ON STOCKBROKING.
- Creativity, Initiative and Commitment.
- Excellent Oral & Written Communications skills.
- Excellent Relationship Management skills.
- Proficiency in deal originations and execution.
- Team Player
QUALIFICATION
- First degree in Social Science or Commercial related discipline.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in sales in A STOCKBROKING FIRM.
