Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership, coordination, and management of humanitarian programs in line with CENSCOPE strategy and donor requirements.
- Ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities.
- Manage program budgets, work plans, and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lead and supervise program staff, fostering teamwork, capacity building, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, organizational policies, and humanitarian core standards.
- Coordinate with donors, government counterparts, UN agencies, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities, and propose adaptive management solutions.
- Contribute to proposal development, needs assessments, and strategic planning.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a project or program management role within humanitarian settings.
- Strong knowledge donor compliance, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.
- Willingness to travel to field locations
- Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
- Excellent knowledge of the humanitarian principles and practices
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Confidentiality, integrity, and a sense of conflict-of-interest prevention.
