Pool Attendant
Job Summary
- We are seeking a diligent Pool Attendant with strong swimming ability and lifeguard skills to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, maintenance, and exceptional guest service in a pool environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor pool area for safety, enforcing rules and preventing accidents.
- Test and maintain water chemistry (pH, chlorine levels) daily; perform basic cleaning and skimming.
- Clean pool decks, furniture, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
- Assist guests with towels, loungers, and general inquiries.
- Inspect equipment (pumps, filters, lights) and report issues promptly.
- Maintain inventory of pool supplies and chemicals.
Requirements
- Must be a strong swimmer with proven lifeguard skills (certification required).
- Experience in pool maintenance.
- Knowledge of water testing and basic pool chemistry.
- Physically fit for cleaning tasks and emergency response.
- Strong swimming ability and customer service skills.
- Available for shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Bonus: First aid/CPR certification or hospitality background.
