Plant Engineer
Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of plant equipment and systems.
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and minimal downtime across all plant activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical faults and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve plant efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving strategies.
- Supervise and guide technical staff and contractors where necessary.
Requirements
- National Diploma (ND) or City & Guilds certification in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in plant engineering or industrial operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of plant machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical processes.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
