Pipe Fitter (Level 4)
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, and specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools
- Install and maintain piping systems for water, gas, steam, or other fluids
- Perform pressure testing and inspection of installed pipes
- Identify faults, leaks, or defects and carry out repairs as required
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and other site personnel
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Requirements & Qualifications
- Trade Test / Technical Certificate in Pipe Fitting or related discipline
- Level 4 Pipe Fitter certification is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation techniques
- Ability to work from drawings with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of HSE standards
- Physically fit and able to work in site conditions
