Pharmacist
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug usage, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide professional counselling to patients on medication use, dosage, and side effects
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Maintain proper record-keeping and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor drug therapy and patient outcomes
- Supervise pharmacy staff and support personnel where applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
- Valid practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Minimum of [2–3] years relevant experience (hospital/retail setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
