Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) Lead Nurse
Summary
- Lily Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) Lead Nurse to provide clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality maternal and reproductive healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff in the O&G unit
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and infection control practices
- Coordinate antenatal, labour, delivery, postnatal, and gynaecological care services
- Monitor patient care plans and ensure quality service delivery
- Support obstetric emergencies and operate relevant medical equipment
- Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse & Midwife (RN/RM) with valid practicing license
- B.NSc or relevant qualification (Post-basic Midwifery required)
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with leadership experience in O&G
- Strong knowledge of maternal and neonatal care protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to function effectively in high-pressure clinical situations.
