Layer 3 Core Network Engineer
Role Description
- We are seeking a skilled Layer 3 Core Network Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing Layer 3 network solutions, ensuring the stability and performance of the core network. The role involves troubleshooting complex networking issues, optimizing network architecture, and delivering reliable connectivity for diverse services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and maintain high-quality service delivery will be key to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Network Engineering, including implementing and managing high-performance networks
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex networking issues
- Experience in Network Design and Core Network management with a focus on scalability and efficiency
- Knowledge of Network Architecture and expertise in creating robust and secure network frameworks
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and support cross-functional teams
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
