Overview
- An Office 365 Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Office 365 suite of tools used by an organization. They work closely with IT departments to set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access to data housed within the cloud-based Office 365 platform. They are also responsible for ensuring that all Office 365 applications are running smoothly and that data is backed up regularly. In addition, they troubleshoot any issues related to Office 365 applications, and ensure that security protocols are in place to protect sensitive data. A strong understanding of the user experience is required, as the Office 365 Administrator must ensure that the tools provided to employees are accessible and easy to use. An Office 365 Administrator job requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Create and manage user accounts in Office 365.
- Monitor and troubleshoot email and other Office 365 services.
- Implement and manage security features to protect Office 365 data.
- Configure and maintain Office 365 applications, such as SharePoint and Teams.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate Office 365 with other systems.
- Manage Office 365 licenses and subscriptions for users.
- Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations as it pertains to Office 365.
- Provide training and support to users of Office 365 applications.
- Stay up-to-date with technology advancements and improvements in Office 365.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting of incidents on LAN/MAN/WAN network components from various vendors (CISCO, Juniper, Checkpoint, HP, F5, Netscalar, Infoblox, BlueCoat, & Others)
- Investigating and analyzing repetitive issues on the network for resolution
- Planning & performing configuration changes on network devices
- Continuously reviewing network configurations (routing, firewall rules, VLAN configurations, Fabric, QoS, vPC, Stacking, LB profiles & others) for optimization opportunities
- Performance and capacity planning utilizing tools such as VitalNet, MRTG, Tivoli products
- Advanced troubleshooting of incidents on LAN/MAN/WAN network components from various vendors (CISCO, Juniper, Checkpoint, HP, F5, Netscalar, Infoblox, BlueCoat, & Others)
- Initial point of contact for resolving customer raised network related service requests specific to Cisco equipment
- Supporting all facets of the company’s LAN / WAN
- Telecommunications and wide area networking
- Fiber Optic Network operations support
Qualifications for network support specialist
- Good knowledge of the SAP environment ( P50 )
- Autonomy (Good sense of organization and planning, ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously)
- Facility for interpersonal relationships and team spirit developed
- Leadership ability and quick decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering / telecommunications, and / or extensive experience in external network , systems and technologies that are used there
