Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, redress, inspect, and function test TCP systems and perforating guns in line with OEM and client specifications.
- Perform pressure testing, continuity checks, and pre-job QA/QC verification of TCP equipment.
- Ensure safe handling, documentation, and traceability of explosive components in compliance with approved procedures.
- Operate and maintain pressure control equipment (PCE) for TCP operations.
- Interface effectively with wireline and slickline teams during job execution.
- Maintain accurate quality, inspection, and job documentation.
- Uphold HSE standards, including explosives safety, permit-to-work, and red zone control.
Requirements
- HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in TCP operations within the oil & gas service industry.
- Proven experience with TCP perforating guns and firing systems.
- Proficiency in standard inspection tools, gauges, and NDT equipment.
- Strong knowledge of pressure control equipment (PCE).
- Certifications such as ASNT Level II, CSWIP 3.1 / CWI, ISO 9001:2015 are an added advantage.
- Strong commitment to HSE compliance and operational integrity.
- Willingness to work offshore, and rotational schedules.
